Those books up there seems like ones I have to read as soon as possible. Maybe, I will have to enroll for the mentorship because it seems there's lot to be gained.

I have read many books on the list. I understand your remarks about the book called Zonas the quema. Jorge had a fantastic life with many life lessons that I enjoyed reading about.

Just wanted to pop back in here and drop a plug for Mark Victor Hansen: Relentless! I finished that book just last month and was blown away - I've never read a biography that I enjoyed that much or that made me think so deeply about my own career choices. 10/10, if you're here and unsure what to read next pick that one up!

Has anyone who speaks and reads Spanish read Zonas de Quema by Jorge P. Newbery? What were your thoughts?

I am trying to read more books in Spanish. Also, if there are any other recommendations for books in Spanish that would be most appreciated!

I wanted to expand on the unfakeable code. I finished reading it a couple of weeks ago, and I’m still not convinced by it. I appreciated the basic concept the author was trying to convey, that we have to follow our true self in order to live a happier and more fulfilling life. However, some of the author’s ideas I don’t agree with. For example, what I understood from this narration is that the author thinks that we distance ourselves from our “true authentic self” because we become subordinate to other people’s desires. As a result, we create new personas which, from what I got, is not a good thing. I wholly disagree with the author, because I truly believe that we become who we are thanks to our interaction with different people throughout our lives. We don’t form masks or façades, we form our personality through our experiences. Do you agree?

I've already read two of the books. Relentless and The Unfakable Code. I gotta say, they were pretty good influence over me. I don't regret reading any of the book. In fact, I've already posted a review about these two. I'm going to add these books to my bookshelves.
