To say life is challenging or that life is just a series of challenges is true enough but also an understatement. More truly, life is challenge.
But don't just be "prepared for" life to challenge you.
No, not just "prepared for"...
...but also excited for!
Happy for!
Thankful for!
Grateful for!
Looking forward to!
Life is challenging every single day for every single person, and that's what is so great about it.
Everyday life punches me in the face, just like my best friends when we are boxing, which I love to do not DESPITE it being challenging but BECAUSE it is challenging.
It's the same reason I hit the weights so hard in the gym, or set grand expensive goals that hurt me to accomplish. It's the same reason I learn new dances or take a new martial arts class.
I love challenge! I love being challenged! If life wasn't so very challenging, I'd rather be dead.
When I get punched in the face, whether literally by my best friends, or figuratively by life itself, I smile. I sincerely smile my most sincere of smiles, and the most sincere of smiles is a bloody smile.
Life is challenge, and inner peace meaning true happiness (or the lack thereof) is how one relates to being challenged (e.g. punched in the face by life).
When that happens to me, I say "thank you, life". I say, "good hit". I say, "let's go another round".
I say, "Give me your best because that's the only way I can give you mine."

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."
I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.
