Beware: The phrase "work hard" can be just as dishonest and dangerous as the word "try". Be very careful with it!

The honest person who fully and unconditionally accepts that which they cannot control realizes there is no sensible difference between want and choice, there is no difference between goal and obstacle, and there is no trying, no failure, and no shoulds and no oughts. Those are all imaginary phantoms that miserable people use to explain their self-chosen misery and imagined spiritual slavery (a.k.a. imaginary lack of self-discipline/self-control). Such spiritual slavery is always fundamentally imaginary and a matter of dishonesty and/or delusion, namely in the sense of dishonest self-delusion. In reality, nobody lacks self-discipline or self-control; they just lie to themselves about what they want/choose. When it comes to your choices, you always get exactly what you want, meaning what you choose.
"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."
I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.

When "work hard" becomes the sole focus, it can lead to burnout, frustration, and a sense of inadequacy if success isn't immediately achieved, despite significant effort. This phrase may also ignore systemic barriers that individuals face, such as socioeconomic factors or lack of opportunities, which cannot be overcome by effort alone.
Similarly, the word "try" can imply a half-hearted effort or lack of commitment. Both terms can be used to deflect from the need for comprehensive strategies and genuine, consistent effort. Thus, it's crucial to emphasize not just working hard but also working smart, being resilient, and adapting to challenges.
