Happiness and success are really intertwined. Happiness leads to success because it is when you are happy and self contented with wherever you are in life, that you can say you are successful.

This makes perfect sense, as inner happiness and contentment lead to success through a positive, happy and determined mindset that with consistency, will reap the rewards that will eventually pave the way to achieving your goals, whatever they may be. We are not all motivated by money but it is necessary to survive: and one's mindset is the key to getting what we need.

Hi Scott,
Could you please share more on Two Huge But Easy Tips for Building New Habits? The link I received directed me to the article on happiness but not to the one on building new habits.

I built a new habit for exercise. Two years after knee replacement I set a goal of walking four miles per day at less than 20 minutes per mile. I started with one mile and increased my exercise by another mile each week so after four weeks I was walking four miles per day even when the heat was between 105 and 115 degrees. I walked the four miles after dinner so the sun was no longer a factor but it was still hot. By working up to my goal I achieved it and continued to achieve it every day. Two years ago, I had foot surgery on one foot and six months later foot surgery on the other foot. I was using a scooter that I kneeled on with the leg that had foot surgery so my four miles per day goal had to be postponed until I recovered. It took a year to recover to the point where walking did not cause my feet to swell. The foot doctor recommended extra-wide shoes for comfort and after getting the shoes my ability to walk longer distances improved. I now walk four miles per day.

Living a life without expectations from anyone or anything surely removes the disappointment factor because you weren't even expecting anything in the first place, so it's impossible to be let down. No one owes you anything, not even life, so there is no ground for expectations.

I'm aware that happiness typically ignites people's motivation to work and expands their capacity for creative thinking. Happy individuals tend to forge connections with others effortlessly, laying the foundation for collaborative endeavors and meaningful creations.

This is very true and contentment comes with fulfillment. If your not happy and always want more to your life than you have, then you will never know what true happiness is and inner peace

The heart is our foundation. It determines how our lives are shaped. True happiness makes our heart strong and unwavering because it comes from within. And if our heart is happy, succesa is the byproduct.

I do not totally agree with this. If I had crazy money, I doubt that I will be sad or depressed. Even though there are downsides tot his, but I believe that money solves at least 90% of all the problem one faces.

Indeed, the relationship between happiness and success is multifaceted. While it's commonly believed that happiness can lead to external success, it's also valid to consider that achieving a certain level of success, whether internal or external, can contribute to one's overall happiness. For some individuals, internal success, such as personal growth or fulfillment, may be paramount, while for others, external success, like career achievements or social recognition, might be the key to feeling content with oneself.

The irony is that even though money doesn't buy happiness, happiness buys money. Once you become graceful with happy free-spirited inner peace, with a grateful and empowering abundance mindset, suddenly achieving incredible external success becomes so ridiculously easy.
I love this. If you're truly happy, then good things will come to you, including money. External success follows internal happiness.

Being inherently unhappy influences everything you do and sets you up for failure. It becomes a vicious cycle of unhappiness and confirmation that you have good reason to be unhappy. Contrary to popular belief, the world does not owe you anything. Therefore, to say you have no expectations, makes sense. Thank you for sharing.

Very true. Sadly in today's world, many people think that once you have a lot of money, happiness will follow . When they actually have that money, they will then realize that they missed many beautiful chances at being happy.

Very true! I believe the relationship between happiness and external success is often viewed as reciprocal. When individuals are happy, they tend to have a positive outlook on life, which can enhance their resilience, creativity, and productivity. This positive mindset can lead to better performance in various aspects of life, including career, relationships, and personal endeavors. As a result, happy individuals may be more likely to achieve external success, such as career advancements, recognition, and financial prosperity.

I agree! When people feel happy and fulfilled, they often exhibit qualities such as resilience, optimism, and creativity, which are conducive to achieving their goals.
