Success certainly contributes to happiness, but I also believe happiness is a strong prerequisite for success.

Even though money cannot directly purchase happiness, a state of true happiness, defined by a sense of fulfillment, meaning, and positivity, can certainly pave the way for financial success. It’s less about money causing happiness, and more about happiness influencing success, which can then bring financial benefits.

I completely agree with what you've said. In my personal experience, I know that true inner contentment has a profound effect on how one sees and views the world, and in turn, how profoundly that world affects them. Being in a state of true inner happiness is like a high of its own, but with no negative drawbacks, it's like floating through life, enjoying experience after experience, without attachment to any outcome. I think the material world is meant to be enjoyed, but not looked to for genuine lasting happiness.

In Africa we believe money doesn't buy happiness but their is happiness in the money. So having money is like having happiness. This two things goes hand on hand together.

Seeing it presented that way: "money doesn't buy happiness, happiness buys money" is very refreshing. I've seen people who are bitter because they can't land well-paying jobs and I sometimes think they aren't getting what they want out of life because they're bitter and resentful. An improvement in attitude would prompt them to seize any available opportunity and make the most of it. I've had an improvement in my finances when I had the right attitude, which was preceded by happiness and "inner peace."

I don't agree. Lol. I feel money buys happiness to an extent. It may not buy joy. But there's some level of happiness you'll have knowing that you can get whatever you want.

I can relate with you on this. Having no expectations gives fulfilment. This in turn gives happiness. When you are happy, you can think well and achieve success. But when you are not happy, it creates a kind of hollowness that yearns for filling.

True! Happy individuals often exhibit qualities like optimism, resilience, and creativity, which can be advantageous in navigating challenges and seizing opportunities. Consequently, personal fulfillment can serve as a foundation for building a successful and fulfilling life.

Yes, I agree with you While financial wealth doesn't guarantee happiness, psychological well-being can significantly influence one's financial situation. Genuine happiness can enhance motivation, creativity, and resilience, leading to improved productivity, enhanced decision-making, and a greater probability of achieving financial prosperity.

I'd feel emancipated if I realized that true happiness comes from within rather than from external successes or goods. Embracing this perspective would allow me to appreciate life's pleasures without becoming tied to them, knowing that my inner serenity and fulfillment are eternal and unchanging. This separation from external validation would most likely lead to greater achievement in many areas of life, as I would no longer be motivated by desperation but by a calm, confident energy.

To answer your question, true pleasure does lead to external success. When you are fulfilled from inside, you naturally attract success because your actions are motivated by abundance rather than need.

That's the ultimate truth. Money doesn't buy happiness. With true happiness of your self brings attraction. You vibrate with yourself. Happiness indeed leads to external success.

Living entails moving from one point to another. There will always be new things to acquire and achieve and that's why true happiness can never come from achievements and external sources because if it does, it will be short-lived and true happiness isn't short-lived.
