Best Apps and Platforms to Invest in the Stock Market
Actions speak louder than words. I personally use Robinhood, so that's also the one I recommend for USA residents.
If anyone ever recommends you use a platform that they don't use, then I would get very suspicious and ask a lot of questions, namely why they don't use it and why they aren't recommending the one they use.
The thing I like most about Robinhood is that it is free, meaning they don't charge you a fee to buy or sell stock like most brokers do. Beyond that, it also has the most user-friendly stock trading interface I've ever used, especially for mobile.
Since I am a Robinhood user myself, they also give me this special coupon/referral link that will give you a free stock when you sign up:
https://join.robinhood.com/scotth769
^ Use the link above to sign up for Robinhood and get a free stock as your reward for signing up.
Unfortunately, Robinhood only allows people from the USA to sign up.
Here is a list of well-known companies that (to the best of my knowledge) allow non-USA residents to sign up and invest in the USA stock market:
I have not used these, but they are all well-known companies that (to the best of my knowledge) allow non-USA residents to invest in the USA stock exchange:
- Interactive Brokers
- TradeStation Global
- CMC Markets
- Swissquote
- Saxo Bank
- Charles Schwab International
- TD Ameritrade
- Firstrade
- Zacks Trade
As a favor, if you live outside of the USA and either (1) already use one of the above or (2) sign up for one of the above, please do let me know why you chose the one you did and how it goes. Please post your review of them both as a comment here (so all can see it) and contact me to let me know your review of them so I can use that info to help advise others.
With love,
