Re: Mysterious anxiety
What is the origin of this disturbed feeling? Are you afraid of the person physically? Are you afraid of folks standing/passing by your back (where you can't keep track of them)? What?Above us only sky wrote:Do you experience any unnecessary anxiety ? for example: you are sitting on a chair in a park and you are reading a book, when someone walks by you (especially when a person walks by you and you are sitting with your back facing that person) you would feel disturbed, you feel the urge to turn your body and take a look at that person, you feel a little uneasy and even a mysterious anxiety arise in your mind.

Above all, if the problem persists to a clinical degree (so disturbing that you really can't sit/stand without your back to the wall, for example), I would consider seeking psychological help.

Re: Mysterious anxiety
Whether it is normal depends in part on what you mean by normal. Are you asking whether it is common or if it is some kind of abnormality or disorder? I would think that it is not uncommon to sometimes feel self-conscious, vulnerable, or defensive, especially in places where one perceives potential danger. Anxiety disorder, however, is severe and disruptive. If it becomes persistent, worrisome, or severe then you should speak to a professional who knows your medical history.
