Philosophical pessimism
I am about to write a short paper on philosophical pessimism and I need some help. I will compare two books and the presented views on this topic. The first book I have chosen is "The World as Will and Representation" by Schopenhauer. What another good book, written by a philosopher would be great to compare their pessimism against Schopenhauers ? I have thought about using Nietzsche's "The Birth of Tragedy". Would I find what I want in this Nietzsche's book or should I continue to look for another?

Re: Philosophical pessimism
Definitely read it, but for a more"pessimistic" tone, how about Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus
