Dereliction of duty
I'm pleading like a fool..
Please help me try and ponder why
we let the chaos rule..?
If you ask me about my plea,
did I forget to mention..
I've spent some time creating rhymes
to share my true intentions..
To make a life resolving strife,
a lofty goal indeed..
You know we can conceive a plan
to banish hate and greed..
With much regard it isn't hard
to teach the best way played,
and if you doubt, no need to shout
'cause actions can be made..
The game is won when work is done
towards a common goal..
It's never fare to spread despair
or hurt a living soul..
So help your friends before the end
and listen to your foes,
just take my word that what you've heard
could fix your selfish woes..

Thinking of you, while having a brew,
chilling on top of my bed.
Having a drink and starting to think,
can't get you out of my head..
I hear you sing and joy it does bring,
regret when I have to depart.
Let me be true and say this to you,
"you'll always be here in my heart.."

Our dreams are strange and rearrange
the thoughts inside our minds.
Let me just say this if I may..
"the truth is hard to find".
