If You had the Power of God, How would you change the World?

Chat about anything your heart desires here, just be civil. Factual or scientific questions about philosophy go here (e.g. "When was Socrates born?"), and so most homework help questions belong here. Or how someone is a good person that is never taught ethics but is then taught ethics to have a greater sense of awareness.
Steiner schools were like that, weren't they?

I have not idea, a quick google search shows its a type of education that also focuses on self and is longer, basically cutting out the need for parents to give life lessons.

First let me {G-D} apologize - Obviously it {the creation of Humans} has not worked as planned - You {Humans] are not evolving properly.

Look at the Middle East today :!:  What was it 5, 6 thousand years ago I gave you the Bible
- And you haven't learned a dam thing - You kill each other like mad dogs, have little ability to form a cohesive world order and still are not civilized beings :!:

You think Einstein gave you E=MC2 and the ability to create nuclear fission and fusion - And hence the ability to destroy yourselves :?: But guess who gave it to Einstein? - I did.
During WWII and its barbaric nature I lost complete faith in my Human creations, and decided maybe it was time to terminate the experiment - You still have the ability Humans, you can wipe yourselves out of the Universe.

I'll tell you what - I will give you one more chance. No, I will not forgive you, my Jesus persona did not work - even in his name you persisted to kill each other.

I will hold all of you responsible and each and everyone of you capable of understanding this must contribute to a New Dawn - An end to your old animalistic and barbaric history.

I want you to show me you are capable of achieving a Worldwide state of Civilization.

But my patience is reaching its limitation - What is going on in Israel/Gaza today could escalate into
WWIII and the end of your species - Think about it and act accordingly :!:

C'mon God. You're supposed to be omniscient, so you must surely be aware of phenomena like the madness of crowds and the tragedy of the commons. Wars are not single events, started and stopped by individual people. They're collective endeavours. It's perfectly possible for the individual steps taken by individual people to seem like the only thing they could reasonably have done in the circumstances but the end result of the whole process to be catastrophic.

During one of the times when you came here as Jesus (or whatever you called yourself) did you ever drive a car? If so, when sitting in a traffic jam, did you ever angrily think to yourself "what are all these people doing clogging up the roads?!?" before realizing that you were one of them?

Every individual person wrote:I'm perfectly capable of that. It's all those other bozos that are the problem.

There should be more openness towards ideas that conflict with our own. I would end global warming, crime, war, racism, terrorism, cancer, pollution, poverty, climate change and more.

We all want roughly the same thing - peace, prosperity, recovery of the natural environment, for humans to be more reasonable and kind etc.

Based on history, it appears we cannot have all of these things, not for all.

How do you like the internet? - The World has never been smaller - We are all neighbors now.

If Covid showed nothing else, it should have made Humans aware that no nation, no peoples, are immune
from each other - America and China's pollution, like a pandemic, effects all.

Histories leaders and generals are losers - In final analysis they have all failed - the World is still at war
with itself - Only a plan of unification of the Human will for a future will allow for a future
- If man is not capable of seeing a New Dawn now - then it is all over and Man will be a footnote in the Universe :!:

I would reveal myself to mankind (again) as a profit (man could not bare to confront God directly), and I would start a NEW RELIGION that incorporates ALL the religions of the world. Mankind would all be striving to reach the same basic goals (preservation of nature/earth and spirit - our bodies can’t stay the same but spirit can..

Good point, profit is the ruler of most people's minds.
