I'm really not sure. I hadn't seen a similarity between them before you mentioned it. Most musicians are inspired by their predecessors, so I suppose it's perfectly possible?

I’m not religious, but the religious sure but passion in their art.
Amazing feeling and expression of meaning, belief and perspective.

Deep Purple — Deep Purple in Rock
Led Zeppelin — II
Jethro Tull — Aqualung.
