Problems with the news - Has anyone noticed?

Chat about anything your heart desires here, just be civil. Factual or scientific questions about philosophy go here (e.g. "When was Socrates born?"), and so most homework help questions belong here. Note, posts in the off-topic section will not increase new members post counts. This includes the introductions and feedback sections.

This is the only version I ould find on youtube. The rest appears to be censored! Breaking news of Bidens China collusion is being censored!

Ted Cruz is talking and taking twitter to court over this gross interference into the USA elections!

Tip: The dems are not the ones managing this system. It is the CCP!

Man With Beard wrote: October 15th, 2020, 8:50 pm I am not sure if the news got any better or worse. There was (I think) more "fact-checking" back in the day, and it went to an "authoritative source" - but that source was often full of ****. Now the press is more likely to quite each other or some random dude on Twitter.

Back in the 1980s I started playing Dungeons & Dragons - just as the whole "OMG Dungeons & Dragons causes Satanism and suicide" idiocy started. Much of "the press" went with it even though the "satanism and suicide" thing was ********. That was before the Internet. But at least they checked with men with Ph.D.s and suits first.
I played D&D back then too. I've only murdered a few people since then.
But my character Pending Mookfoot was a Halfling and since I've not been able to find any orcs or goblins I've not been very interested in killing. So only a couple of people who were a bit orcy have died at my hands.

This is the most serious meddling in USA election and internal affairs ever!

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/hunter ... ocumentary

"Hunter Biden’s business dealings in China served the “strategic interests” of the country’s communist government and military — and may have imperiled American national security, claims a new documentary exclusively previewed by The Post."

Please remember this:

https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/d ... xi-jinping
"Beijing is buying up media outlets and training scores of foreign journalists to ‘tell China’s story well’ – as part of a worldwide propaganda campaign of astonishing scope and ambition."

Please be aware of this you all! The news in the USA is bias from a Marxist perspective. And it is covering Biden's ass. You all should be very, very worried about this. They are eve mn censoring the oress secretary of the White House!

I think Sculptor is right on this one. Fox is number one except for the over seventy crowd that still watches CBS. You can find some stuff to the far left, but, I can't see that it's fair to say CBS is as far to the left as Fox is off to the right, for example. Few people are reading Mother Jones or even the Huffington Post. Among the things that people are reading and watching, there is a spectrum, but on balance it tilts a bit right.

This isn't about left or right, this is about the freedom of the press and freedom of speech, such as it is in totalitarianism. And it is the CCP that is pulling the strings.

Schweizer: Hunter Biden emails confirm a 'United Nations' of corruption.

If I were in the USA, I woukd sincerely worry about the media holding this back.
