Military Difference
That is only true for civilian clocks. Military clocks are right only once per day. My question is this the following:
Is the difference between military and civilian clocks completely limited to just physical clocks or is it broader than that with the difference also being metaphorical and philosophical?
If a military commander relied on the "broken clocks" in their ranks to be right, would that happen only half as often leaving such commanders disappointed twice as often as their civilian world counterparts that do that?

You should be able to change your answer as this topic itself should be able to change forum. It shouldn't be in an off-topic forum. Granted, it may not come across as philosophy to moderators and may even seem trollish due to the sheets and giggles nature of it but there are philosophical questions to ponder. I would love replies from military veterans since they can post from experience.
