It's a pity to see scientific anti-realism only scoring 15%. Perhaps it needs a new manager, or to be bought up by a Russian oligarch.

11% say there's no Free Will, eh?
A result that surely contains a joke which is fighting to get out.

There are several modern-day financial incentives to advocate for determinism or more specifically, to denounce a 'belief' in free will. Some 'questionable' products of science depend on determinism to have a mere chance to survive.

(2021) The clockwork universe: is free will an illusion?
A growing chorus of scientists and philosophers argue that free will does not exist. Why would they do so?
https://www.theguardian.com/news/2021/a ... n-illusion

1. synthetic biology revolution (GMO, Eugenics on Nature) reduces plant and animal life to 'meaningless' beyond the value that a company (an individual) can see in them. To reduce plant and animal life to such a state requires determinism to be true.
viewtopic.php?f=12&t=17547

2. Big Pharma + psychiatry intends to replace the criminal justice system to secure further growth and has been quite successful in making progress on the basis of questioning a 'belief' in free will.

(2020) Free Will Skepticism in Law and Society: Challenging Retributive Justice.
https://ndpr.nd.edu/news/free-will-skep ... e-justice/

A recent book by philosophy professor Gregg D. Caruso (State University of New York).

And there is the new website debatingfreewill.com (2021) by philosophy professors Daniel C. Dennett and Gregg D. Caruso.

Meaning of life: Subjective, Objective or 'Other'.

23% chose 'Other'. What alternative(s) for Subjective or Objective would be possible?
