Actually Carlin might very well have been cancelled had he lived longer. Regardless of his flamboyant leftism (mostly), he had a caustic manner. That'd have gotten him branded as a bully for sure. Never forget, wherever the left wins they soon take to eating their own. (Case in point: look at pro-Hamas progressives turning on Biden's junta.)

Calin was great. He made us laugh. But the real fun is watching the rabid "rightard maga twiterati" eating their own as they always do.

I tend to agree that Carlin would NOT have been on the side of the "rightards," so called. (This may or may not have saved him from getting cancelled.
) On the other hand, I always found Carlin to be little more than a slightly cleverer white boy doing what was basically Cheech & Chong humor. "Ooooh, he runs together into ONE long word the 7 word you can't say on TV!" "Ooooh, he made a marijuana joke LIVE on TV." Yawn. The sudra must have their Saturnalia, I guess. Enjoy.

George Carlin is like Stewart Lee, only Stewart Lee is clever, whereas George Carlin is just a miserable old man ranting - entertaining for about five minuets, but thereafter you come to wonder if for him, there's nothing good in the world. I think he's a hero to masochists from the left and right alike - people who'd pay to hear the world torn to shreds, and laugh at the resultant nothingness.
