Personally written wisdom sayings

Chat about anything your heart desires here, just be civil. Factual or scientific questions about philosophy go here (e.g. "When was Socrates born?"), and so most homework help questions belong here. Intuition, the irrational function can only work it's magic when there is a relaxation of the two rational functions; thinking and feeling.

Life is as good as its cigars. An enjoyable poison that starts long, may be cut short, but most certainly will get bitter towards the end.

Intelligent people can be compared to morons because they are often an anathema to life and liberty.

It's generally disconcerting when you don't know whether to laugh or to be indignant.

Your mind and life are like a ship on a rough sea, if you load it with too much cargo, you would be lucky to ever reach your choice of destination. It not how much you fill it with, it’s what you fill it with that makes the difference.
A secret to happiness is not always found in obtaining more, but in utilizing what you have.

Misinformation is more hopeless than non-information; for error is always more busy than ignorance. Ignorance is a blank sheet on which we can write; but error is a scribbled one, from which we must first erase. Ignorance is content to stand still with it's back to the truth, but error is more presumptuous, and proceeds in the wrong direction. Ignorance has no light, but error follows a false one. The consequences is, that error, when its steps are retraced, has further to go before it can arrive at the truth, than ignorance.

To me, a fishing pole and line is like language and a fish is like the thought or idea behind the language. When one is starving, once you got hold of the fish, (the meaning) you can set the fishing line (language or path that got you there) down

In a world gone foul with brutal deeds, When mankind will only think of themselves and greed. And they shall walk as if asleep they do not look - they may not peep, and crystal glass is before their face, their eyes becoming a blinded disgrace, As hearts harden with never ending temptations watching Sin, the Light of God in Mankind weakens and grows dims. Fools lead, the minions sway, lost identity marks the way. Little Truths, Confusion and Pride, so many diversions will arrive. In an age where people In a daze stare and the things of importance treated as if not there. Their minds and beings are far off in a dream. And facing Reality becomes harder when they can’t take their eyes off the screen. Diversion of attention, A.D.D. Can’t concentrate long enough to see what I mean.
I looked and though for a moment what could I do, my face and self getting clearer my eyes unblinded with the Lords truth. What difference could I make? What chords would ring a bell, what would it take for people to believe that they can change from the path of Fate with reality becoming Hell?
'Try' is a word that can never be defeated, and if you do try you can say, that you made use of this in time, before the shame of Judgement Day. Not understanding this or being too busy is so easy to become the lie. I didn't think I could make a difference........so just like others I didn't even 'try'.
What you do with your time in the effort of this word is better than guilt, shame and scorn, so that if you are a good caretaker of your life and time, after you die then you can be reborn.

To be or not to be a part of the I am that I am or not
To find out what this really means is something everyone should have taken time to sought
The thing that will come to mind is staring you in the mirror
As time unfurls what is revealed as it becomes more clear
What is my use? what is my purpose? am I for the better of man?
Can we all take the time in our lives to help the Fallen Ones stand?
I am told that one candle can light many, and not one second of its life is lost
To be too busy or in denial of this, do you know what really is the cost?
You can lead a horse to water but that doesn’t mean it will drink
The writing on the wall says we have been weighed and found wanting
And now it fills this world with destruction by our moral sink
The things that keep us too busy also keep us from our light
This confusion brought on is really an internal fight
That which you dislike in another be sure to correct in yourself
Be careful with your words and not speak of hate, if you can’t,
It’s better to be quiet and stealth
I am going to now finish these words I this morning was inspired to rhyme
To wake up and realize the importance of this, where we are in our time
To get out from behind our crystal squares, to go outside to see
To be a help and to know your neighbours as your friends
Is a locked doorway that you’ve been given a Key
If you open the door and go outside you will find The “I Am That I Am or
To Be Or Not To Be”
Is the question of conscience, is this really Me!
