This announcement at the top of the page seems to me to be quite misleading. As I understand it, only a few votes took place with a limited choice and it was only with a view to discussion.Announcement: Your votes are in! The January 2019 Philosophy Book of the Month is The Runaway Species: How Human Creativity Remakes the World by David Eagleman and Anthony Brandt.
The headline could be interpreted as this is our vote as to the best buy.
Perhaps bestowing it with undue prominence and worth.
As far as I remember, the included link takes you to some book site where there are 2 people currently wishing to read this book. One of whom is Scott.
Why has this been resurrected after so very long ?
What caused it to die a death in the first place ?
What will make it better this time round ?
Just curious.
