Changing your Username

Hi, Admins & Mods. While Registering with my account, I've made a mistake with my Username and can find no option to change it to the correct one. Can you help? It's crucial.

Hello Scott, I like this site a lot. I'm a bit older and have tried keeping up with technology but had to throw in the towel at Facebook. This will be my first time experiencing a forum. I'll get it figured out. However, I would like to use a different user name and email address. I've only posted once and don't mind losing this account. I tried registering with the new username and email but get this message ... The specified username is currently inactive. If you have problems activating your account, please contact a board administrator. If you could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

If you want to change your username, don't create a whole new account. You can just send a message to Sy Borg or I, and we can change it for you.

Sorry, but I don’t see how to message Sy Borg or yourself Scott and think that’s not an option for me as a new user. If you could please change my username to tumbleweed it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello, I just signed up, thank you. I read the forum rules, and I see that it is possible that my username could be construed as an advertisement for a novel I have written. Can you help me change my username?

Scott, if "Meta Island" is acceptable, I would prefer to keep it. I only requested a change to PepperoniPizza because I wasn't sure if Meta Island would be an acceptable handle in the forum.
