Question to Scott about Scott from Sculptor1

[Moderator's Note: The below post was split as off-topic from the topic, Is taxation by big non-local governments violent robbery?]

Taxation is not imposed on people who have no money.
Taking money from the system is voluntary.
Therefore taxation is also voluntary.
Scott wrote: That logic is utterly fallacious.

If it was valid, then the following would be valid:

The armed bank robbers only take money from people who have money.
Taking money from the system is voluntary.
Therefore, being robbed by armed bank robbers is voluntary.

gibberish
That's a direct verbatim quote of you, so I am inclined to agree with you that your sentence is gibberish if you say it is.
Are you dyslexic? You said "form the system".

No, I am not dyslexic.
My entire political philosophy summed up in one tweet.

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."

I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.

3 statments - all true.
Taxation is not imposed on people who have no money. TRUE
Taking money from the system is voluntary. TRUE
Therefore taxation is also voluntary. Correct conclusion.

If you do not want to pay tax, then don't take their money. You can live off the grid, or find yourself a place to live where you shall not be taxed.

I created the topic "Is taxation by big non-local governments violent robbery?" to discuss whether taxation is violent robbery.

I created this topic "Question to Scott about Scott from Sculptor1" to answer your question about whether or not I am dyslexic.

I know.
I asked why.
You could have just said no.

I split the off-topic question into a separate topic in the off-topic section, where I then answered it, because to reply to the off-topic question in the original topic ("Is taxation by big non-local governments violent robbery?") would be a violation of the forum rules, namely rule G, and I do my best to adhere to the forum rules and stay on-topic in each topic.
