Why do you want to post two consecutive posts? What exactly do you want to happen that does happen when you make two consecutive posts that you cannot do within one post and why do you want it to happen?

I want to be able to separate, very distinctly, a follow-up (or qualifier) from an original thought.
Irritating, to say the least, but I see how such a limitation can be instrumental in preventing excessive posting.
