Discuss "The Way of the World"

Please use this topic to discuss the January 2012 philosophy book of the month, The Way of the World: A Story of Truth and Hope in an Age of Extremism Ron Suskind.

What did you think of the book? With what do you most agree in the book? With what do you most disagree?

I found the book to be fairly original in format and style. While very political at times, the author seems to have penchant for telling things like a story and keeping a dramatic tone rather than a preachy one. What do you think?
