I vote for Robinson Crusoe to be the book of the month. As an absolutely brilliant literary classic surely it deserves to be the book of the month.

What are the philosophical issues surrounding Defoe's wonderful psychological novel? I vote for the novel only because of such issues.

Gilbert Ryle mentions Crusoe in his essay "Descartes Myth". I don't know if essay is online. I read the essay in Stumpf's Textbook many moons ago and again just two days ago. My Memory is still functioning.
