Saluations!

Post by Eirkedaargk »

Hello! This is my first time joining and posting anything in a philosophical forum. I love philosophy, but never saw a need to post in a forum until now. Regardless, I'll share a little about my philosophical background and interests and purpose here. Only seems fair.

Philosophical Background and Interests

I have an undergraduate philosophy degree, and still plan to get philosophy doctorate. The areas of philosophical knowledge I am most familiar with include Philosophy of Religion, Existentialism, Philosophy of Mind, Philosophy of Science, post renaissance enlightenment philosophy, and Logic. I am most interested in Logic and Existentialism, and Phil. Mind to a degree.

Purpose for Joining

My purpose for creating this account is to get some interest in a paper I wrote and researched independently in my spacetime. It is entitled, "Falsifying Freud: Using Interpretations to Disprove interpretations." It is a multidisciplinary paper, and I'm here to see if anyone would be interested in it. But honestly, I think I'm also here because I miss philosophy discussions, and want to engage in them again.

Look forward to speaking with you and participating in your discussions. Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,
E

Salutations to you!

Jump in and I can almost guarantee that folks will be interested in your input. If you have a paper of any length that you would like to present, I recommend you identify single concepts within the paper as subjects, rather than the entirety of the paper itself.

Sound advice. Approaching subject by subject will prove effective. It might also be better to give a summary of the paper's conclusions (I did... no more than 2 pages, with 1 page containing paper topic summary. So not much word wise).

Regardless, thank you very much for the response and advice! Look froward to participating further in this forum!
