Hi all.
I registered a few days ago after having a look around. I liked the fact that there are clear rules about relevancy and preaching. It's a bit of an annoyance for newbies not being able to post without approval until they have a certain number of approved posts but I think it's a sensible measure aimed at keeping the place sane and manageable so I support it.
I look forward to being able to post freely soon and to participating in some informative and interesting philosophical discussions.
(I don't know whether it is appropriate to mention it here but I was PMed by someone wanting me to read an essay. Unfortunately I can not yet use the private message facility so cannot reply to that person. Sorry about that. I did however have a look at your posts in a certain thread and imagine that, had I been able to respond and had I agreed to read your essay, I would have had a lot of work to do. Therefore it is probably for the best from my POV that I am unable to respond. Good luck with it anyway.)
