Re: introdution
Everyone has passed through the zone of youth and inexperience. Some don't acknowledge it, but they are deluding themselves, so don't fall for that.The_Other_Guy wrote: ↑April 14th, 2018, 2:38 pm Now, I am presently, more or less, a youngster. As per my rather smallish age, my general knowledge is lacking, and what little opinions and ideas I possess may seem undeveloped at times to people, so please bear with it. I am also rather prolix, and have quite the fancy for brilliantly wound phrases and colorful analogies and metaphors, so many of my replies might be mostly nonsensical rambling with little real content. Again, forgive me. Now, I enjoy thinking, and philosophy, especially that concerning the human mind ,and its perception of the world, and its beliefs. These subjects are my particular love. I enjoy discussing, but only if new perspectives are presented and approached, or original and interesting information or ideas shared. I have little interest in niceties, and I deeply value getting to the point without vague and polite circumlocutions made in order to make me feel better. If you assert that my opinion is profoundly moronic and idiotic, I will not care much as long as such claims are justified. In some cases, especially if criticisms are worded smartly and hold truth, I will even feel gladdened by my being wrong. Considerable patience, added to a certain level of open-mindedness, are some of my main traits, and I can accept any view as long as it is supported logically and explained to a certain degree, though I might get over-emotional at times, knowing myself.
