Against the Absurd, defiantly laughing.
What to say about myself here... Existentially an optimistic absurdist, physically a determined humanist, so you'll usually find me left-leaning politically, and I still seek an objective Morality somewhere God isn't... Yeah, it's the rock I chose to push up my hill, with the occasional Sam Harris Podcast and my personal "Hitchen's Best of", between prog-rock sessions...
I'm pathologically curious and hopefully my condition is incurable... I don't mind going off the usual roads and I may get lost sometimes, please be indulgent... I used to visit debate sites but since most are, say, lacking moderation, I tired of fallacy abuse and trolls... It was a formative experience though, even considering the facepalm imprints crowning my forehead...
So I found myself here, looking for a nice place to actually explore Knowledge, whatever it may be, in a convivial ambiance and hopefully create a fruitful collaborative learning experience!
Also I'm French-Canadian with an occasional smiley addiction problem... Just wanted to be honest upfront...
