- I searched for it.
What interests you about philosophy
- How aware you become of how everything around you is connected to a stream of ideas that has been in development for millennia. Seriously it gives you an incredible take on questions about this world and yourself, why can't the history of philosophy be a much larger subject in primary school?
Also I'm 21, ever since my mid-teens I've been in this hellhole of escaping and painting a picture of myself that's much more fair than reality. I've enjoyed a life of comfort, complacency and false conceptions because trying to face some parts of my childhood has been very painful. Since I started listening to a podcast about philosophy and the narrator's take on Nietzsche about a month ago my hunger to learn more and face my own image has been insatiable.
A little bit about me.
Where am I from? Presumably my consciousness came into existence at a point in the universe we will never revisit, I'm not quite sure where.
Where do I live? Sweden, a country with a dissapointing pedigree of historical philosopers.
What do I do for a living? I study computer science/engineering a choice I never laid much thought behind besides being STEM and a good job market.
I feel like something has been sparked in me, I have a passion for life that I barely remember could exist.
