Greetings from a Philosopher
Philosophy is my side gig - I have done a bit of online teaching. By day, I do alienated labour.
My M.A. was based heavily on works of "Dead White Males" - well, some of them were still alive at the time of writing, and did include some women. Also, St. Augustine was probably not white. But you get the idea.
At this point I am trying to expand my horizons. After reading Simone de Beauvoir's "The Second Sex" and Betty Friedan's "The Feminine Mystique", I decided to check out Judith Butler "Gender Trouble" - I am making my way through it now.
My major interests are ethics and philosophy of religion and, recently, feminism and gender studies.
I actually signed up on this forum a few years back but gave up after a few posts, thought I would check this out again.
Cheers
