Discovering Philosophy Part 1
So a bit of a story as to why I am posting this; I discovered philosophy while reapproaching my studies, the reason for this was because I found out that I had a nutritional deficency while growing up, this deficency would cause mental blocks (or hitting a mental wall) and sleep related issues.
I wanted to share what I discovered in my reapproach to learning so that I or you can gain knowledge from our discussions in this topic.
(Note: Due to my poor english education I do not have an expansive knowledge in vocabulary but my grammar is oka-ish.)
When my deficency got resolved it made me question all of my known knowledge and reapproach things that were to difficult to approach before; but I felt had to dig deeper than reapproach my education but the very methodology of how I learn, I discovered critical thinking, rational thought, and the word and its meaning "fundamental" -Which later turned out that the fundamental study of something is philosophy.
So in order to create a solid foundation of knowledge I started to approach the idea of how to learn and how it can be used in various ways and still apply in order to be a valid method of learning.
I asked myself; "what is a question?" I broken it down into parts and found that a question is a combination of knowledge in some form used to create an answer with logically thinking.
I then looked into knowledge itself and how it contributes to the construction of a question, which I later found out that knowledge has fundamentals of relating knowledge.
Thinking on this I found a pattern that any kind of subject matter or question will have fundamental knowledge that creates it, this can be shown in the form of a tree graph where a single block at the top is the subject matter or question and the fundamental knowledge being a step down, then the knowledge of that being a step down and so on.
The amount of fundamentals in a section of this graph can be referred to as being knowledgable in that section of knowledge.
I later put this into practice in reapproaching parts of my education which found positive results, but this is not the end to discovering philosophy.
As I am new here I will post this in parts so we can discuss the post without having you need to read a lot of text and keep discussions simple without having to address so much in one post.
I am familiar with biases, debate and fallacies so we can have a reasonable discussion, I know this post may sound more like a story but its real experience of how I discovered philosophy.
I will post a part 2 that adds more knowledge in this approach.
Thanks for reading !
