I split these posts from the thread they were posted in (which was about whether philosophy requires a high IQ) because they are off-topic.
Also, if one has a complaint or question about a moderators action, it does not belong in the on-topic parts of the forum. Please PM me or post the complaint or question in the feedback section.
Here is a copy of the post I deleted:

That was the entire post, not just a snide aside within a post. Anyone who can not easily see why it was deleted needs to re-read
the forum rules, particularly rules #2 and #5.
The on-topic parts of the forum are for sincere, open-minded, respectful discussion and debate. They are not for riddles, insults, ridicule or mockery. Offensive jokes are not allowed, at least in the on-topic parts of the forum. (This is regardless of the gender of people about whom the snide comments or jokes are made.) It's for posting philosophical arguments, questions and constructive criticisms of arguments in as understandable, sincere, polite and upfront a way as possible. It's not for using potentially offensive riddles or jokes.
There is a clear warning that everyone sees before posting that says, "Please be as nice, polite and respectful to other users as possible because even borderline posts will be deleted."
One can make try to make the case for any claim as long as it is on-topic, no matter how unpopular that claim is. But one must do it in a sincere, civil respectful way, must not have a rude, ridiculing or mocking tone and must not use jokes or riddles.
