Vote for the May 2023 Philosophy Book of the Month -- Runoff Vote

Post by Eckhart Aurelius Hughes »

As you all presumably know, I am the author of In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All.

If you are able to post in this forum, that means you purchased my book, which also means you almost certainly either read my book will read it.

In return, I want you to help determine what book I will read next.

In a separate nomination topic (now closed), I accepted nominations from you all. There were about 20 nominations, and we did one round of voting. So now we will have a runoff with the top 7. If there is not a majority winner after this poll, I will have another runoff with the top 2.

The poll will run for two weeks.

I promise I will read whichever book has the most votes when the poll closes. And it will be very next book I will read after the poll closes.

I will also make the book the May 2023 Philosophy Book of the Month, so that we can all discuss it together.
My entire political philosophy summed up in one tweet.

"The mind is a wonderful servant but a terrible master."

I believe spiritual freedom (a.k.a. self-discipline) manifests as bravery, confidence, grace, honesty, love, and inner peace.
