Hi Scott
I have a concern about the 100-Day Mentioning Challenge as far as I know, I have completed my 100th Day already but I received a 7-Day check-in. What is happening nothing is communicated about it. On Facebook, I am a top fan and nobody explained why I am a top fan. On day 99 I got an email that I was going to the next phase but the next phase was not clearly stated I was told to keep posting the books but not explained when.
Please clarify .

Hi Scott,

In your book, In It Together, you state the following: When it comes to your choices, you always get exactly what you want—meaning what you choose—with infinite ease.

Hughes, Eckhart Aurelius. In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All (p. 115). OnlineBookClub.org. Kindle Edition.

Related to this, there have been some discussions about nobody being a failure; they're successful at what they choose, e.g. an alcoholic is successful at drinking—most alcoholics, drug addicts, etc. I've met, see themselves as victims of various things (unhappy childhood, abuse, falling in with the wrong crowd, etc.) meaning they don't take responsibility for their own choices or actions. That may sound harsh, but nobody can change another person (no human anyway). Regardless of how one wants to view this statement, e.g. from a religious perspective, not able to resist temptation, it is the truth. If they accept this truth, how does it change the person and their view of their life?

Kind regards

Hi Scott,

I have a question after reading your book.

You mention that if someone is constantly chasing money, they can never truly be at peace. I understand this depends on the context.

In the case of business owners, the pursuit of money often drives them to grow and succeed. How can one distinguish between the positive and negative effects of this pursuit?

I plan to read the book a second time—maybe I'll find that answer.

Greetings
I have finished my 100 Days but now it states Day 13. I have to understand what is going on according to the Mentioning Program . No feedback from the 100 Days and the next steps were tabled. I am concerned or not understand.

Hello Scott,

I have read In It Together twice, and I agree the second reading gives a better grasp. I wanted assistance with weight loss and another delicate situation. With both of those answered by you, I don't have further questions.

The insights I gain from others' exchanges are helpful. Your suggestions have changed the way I approach circumstances. Small and consistent changes have helped me lose about 8kgs in the last 4+ months.

Thank you,
Seetha E

In your book, "In It Together," you mention numerous things about forgiveness. I refer to the following: If you were fully in their shoes, you would do exactly as they do, so there is nothing to forgive.

Hughes, Eckhart Aurelius. In It Together: The Beautiful Struggle Uniting Us All (p. 170). OnlineBookClub.org. Kindle Edition.

Does that apply to any form of dishonesty as well? From what I've observed, you treat dishonesty differently, e.g. you "punish" reviewers who have used AI and customers who were dishonest. If you were fully in their shoes, would you have acted dishonestly as well?

Kind regards

Hi Scott,

I've noticed on Online Book Club, that if you want people to follow a rule, or do something you require them to do, you impose some form of punishment if they don't do it. What has led you to follow this approach? I don't want to say you're forcing people to do what you want them to do because it's not true, but you make sure the consequences of not doing it, are most undesirable. I associate the carrot approach more with a free-spirited person like yourself. I'm also not saying you never use the carrot, but its use is limited.

For example, instead of removing an editor from Level 6 for not completing 3 edits a day, pay editors on a sliding scale - the more edits they perform, the more they get paid per edit. That's a win-win. The people who want to do edits have an opportunity to make a bit more money and you get the edits done. Removing an editor is a lose-lose. Fewer edits are getting done and the person is demoted to Level 5.

Kind Regard

You have beautifully explained the phenomenon of 'death' in the chapter, 'There Is No Problem of Evil' in your book, 'In It Together.' I wanted to ask. is death necessarily a phenomenon of deterioration, decay, and disintegration, or, can we transform our process of dying into something higher?

With everything that is going on right now with our President, the job cuts, the tariffs, etc., I think that you picked a good business to get into. If people don't have jobs or money to do any socializing, they can always stay home and read. What do you think? Will OBC be affected by any of this government hogwash?
