Re: Overall Idea about the book
I'm glad you appreciated Tieman's approach in "Killing Abel." The way you've captured the essence of man's fall and the inherent desire for sin is poignant. I believe Tieman tried to weave a narrative that allows readers to introspect deeply about human nature and its complexities. The philosophical undertones in his storytelling are both evocative and challenging. Would you say that the Adamic nature, as depicted, made you reflect on modern-day dilemmas and our intrinsic moral compass? I'm curious to know if anyone else drew parallels to contemporary issues or personal introspections.Prince Oyedeji Oyeleke Jayeola wrote: ↑August 26th, 2023, 11:58 am I enjoyed reading the book. I read it with an open mind and tried to look at the events from the aspect of the author's narration. The fall of man from Eden and the journey back to the place of fall speaks volume of the Adamic nature and the endless desire for sin.
