I just purchased this book after reading the book synopsis and plan to start reading it soon. Before I dive into the book, I would like to hear fellow Christians take on the book.

I recently came across Scott Hughes' book "In It Together." As a Christian, the message of unity and love for all definitely resonates with some core Christian beliefs. After all, Jesus himself preached about loving your neighbor as yourself.
That being said, some interpretations of the book seem to stray a bit from traditional Christian teachings, particularly when it comes to specific aspects of sin and salvation.
Overall, I think there's value in the author's message of compassion and understanding. But, I'd probably want to explore it alongside the Bible to make sure everything lines up with my faith.

While "In It Together" might not directly align with all aspects of the Bible, this book appears to advocate for key Christian values. I feel that. As a Christian. We should not judge. For me I was not comfortable with somethings said. But I won't be a judge. There is nothing in this world that is 100 percent good.

This book has changed my perspectives on two things. The first one is my earlier understanding of the word 'spirituality'. The author uses this word differently from my Christian understanding making me consider the possibility of being a spiritual being without holding on to Christianity or any other religious beliefs. Second, is my understanding of Heaven and Hell. Previously, I thought heaven and hell were actual places that await us after death. However, after reading this book I understood that these places can exist within us.

There is one thing I agree on with the author which is different from what Christianity says. That is the concept of Heaven and hell. I always found it hard to believe that there is an afterlife after we die because no one knows if it really exits and you do not know until you die. Because of this book, I believe more in the concept of consciousness and me being conscious means am alive.

As a Christian, I appreciate this book. The book held a neutral and inclusive tone, and wasn't antagonistic at all. I think that the book offers a branch for interfaith dialogue and is inherently an effort to bring people together. There were also several references to Jesus' golden rule of the sermon on the Mount, and positive references to Jesus himself.

As a Christian, this book is highly impactful and beneficial to my christian growth and understanding. I have never read any book that really gives me a sense of inclusiveness and deeper thought. i gain my self awareness and purpose in this book which is great.
